1. General
These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through the webshop of Atelier de Wevershoek.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Atelier de Wevershoek is a small webshop offering a carefully curated collection of natural materials. Every order is handled with care, and we are always here to help if you have any questions.
2. Orders & payments
All prices on our website include VAT for orders within the European Union.
For orders outside the EU, prices are displayed excluding VAT. Local customs authorities may charge import duties or taxes upon delivery. These costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Orders will be processed and shipped once full payment has been received.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, or incorrect information.
If a product is unexpectedly out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible to find a suitable solution together.
3. Shipping & delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within three working days.
Orders are shipped via reliable carriers. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a track & trace code.
Shipping costs are:
- Netherlands – €4.95
- Belgium & Germany – €8.95
- Other countries – €9.95
Free shipping applies above certain order values, which are clearly stated on our website.
Delivery times are indicative and depend on the carrier and destination.
Atelier de Wevershoek is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers.
If a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, this is considered proof of delivery.
If a package is returned to us because it was not collected or due to an incorrect address, we reserve the right to deduct the original shipping costs from the refund. Any costs for reshipping are at the customer's expense.
The customer is responsible for providing the correct shipping address. Additional costs caused by incorrect address details are the responsibility of the customer.
4. Product information & images
We strive to present all products as clearly and accurately as possible.
Product images aim to reflect reality, but colours may vary slightly due to screen settings or lighting conditions.
Minor differences between images and the actual product may occur due to production batches or the nature of natural materials. This does not qualify as a defect.
5. Right of withdrawal (returns)
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days after receiving it, without giving a reason.
After notifying us, you have another 14 days to return the product.
Once we have received and inspected the return, we will refund the purchase amount using the original payment method.
Return costs are at your own expense, unless the product is defective or incorrect.

6. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The following items cannot be returned:
- pre-orders (as clearly stated on the product page)
- personalised products
- sealed care products once opened
- gift cards
If a product shows more use than necessary to assess it, we reserve the right to apply a reduction in value.
7. Warranty & complaints
We supply high-quality products and handle orders with care.
If something is not right, please contact us as soon as possible at info@dewevershoek.nl.
We recommend reporting complaints within 7 days after discovering the issue, so we can resolve it together quickly.
8. Natural materials
Many of our products are made from natural materials such as wool, alpaca, cotton, silk, and linen.
Because these are natural fibres, slight variations in colour, texture, softness, or knitting may occur. This is part of the unique character of natural products.
For materials such as wool or cashmere, light pilling may occur over time. This is a natural characteristic and not considered a defect.
9. Care instructions
To ensure long-lasting enjoyment of your purchase, please follow the care instructions on the product label.
Damage caused by incorrect washing or handling is not covered by warranty.
10. Liability
Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product concerned.
Atelier de Wevershoek is not liable for indirect damages such as consequential loss, loss of profit, or data loss.
11. Disputed payments (chargebacks)
If an order has been delivered to the address provided by the customer and this can be confirmed by the carrier, the order is considered fulfilled.
In such cases, we reserve the right to dispute any chargeback with the payment provider.

12. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Personal data is only used to process orders, provide customer service, and communicate regarding your order.

13. Changes to these terms
Atelier de Wevershoek reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions.
The most current version will always be available on our website.
14. Governing law
All agreements and orders are governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
